On March 8, 2025, International Women’s Day, the new Alice Bensheimer Hall was officially opened at the Rosengarten Congress Center. The new variable hall is located in the roof area at the level of the second floor above the centre foyer between the old and new buildings. 600 square metres of floor space can be divided into up to six break-out rooms or smaller workshop and conference units equipped with state-of-the-art technology.

At maximum capacity, the hall offers seating for up to 510 guests in a plenary arrangement. The area can also be used as additional exhibition space for congresses and offers extended catering options. The consistent further development of the Rosengarten is supported by feedback from customers: ‘The major medical societies are clearly expressing their needs here,’ says Bastian Fiedler, CEO of m:con-mannheim:congress GmbH, which manages the Rosengarten. ‘The expansion will ensure that we remain competitive in the future.’
