Whether by bike, bus and train or electric car – the Congress Center Rosengarten in a central city location in the centre of Mannheim takes the decision for a sustainable journey off your hands. In our smart mobility map – smap for short – you can see all stops, e-charging stations and Nextbike stations near the Congress Center Rosengarten at a glance. The “Rosengarten” tram stop in the immediate vicinity of the Congress Center Rosengarten not only serves regional transport, but also takes you to the nearby main railway station in just a few minutes, which can alternatively be reached on foot in 10 minutes. As the second busiest railway station in Baden-Württemberg, the connection to Deutsche Bahn is optimal and offers you ICE connections throughout Germany and internationally.

For visitors travelling by electric car, ten parking spaces with e-charging stations are available in the Rosengarten underground car park.

Long-distance transport

Arrival by Train – Deutsche Bahn

From Frankfurt Airport you can take the ICE train directly to Mannheim Central Station (approx. 30 minutes).

To improve punctuality and quality, Deutsche Bahn fundamentally overhauls the link between Frankfurt/Main and Mannheim – so called Riedbahn – in 2024. Within five months, DB will modernise all the facilities on the approximately 70-kilometre-long line.

The direct connection between Mannheim and Frankfurt Airport will be provided by long distance buses (IC buses).

Arrival by car

Due to its central downtown location, the Congress Center Rosengarten has been located in the environmental zone of the city of Mannheim since 1 March 2008. This means that you can only drive to our centre with an environmental badge. You can obtain environmental badges from your vehicle registration office, TÜV, DEKRA and certified garages.

Travelling by plane

From Frankfurt Airport you can take the ICE train directly to Mannheim Central Station (approx. 30 minutes).

You will find parking spaces in the Rosengarten Deck A and B multi-storey car park, as well as in the parking deck below the Dorint Kongresshotel Mannheim.

E-charging stations

There are ten charging points for electric and hybrid vehicles on car park level A of the underground car park. The charging points are operated in cooperation with MVV Energie AG and can be used for an additional fee, which is paid directly at the points.
